Short version: I count visits, not people.

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it is used: which pages get read, roughly how visitors find the site, and on what kind of device. That helps me decide what to improve. That's the whole purpose.

How it's configured

• No advertising features, no Google Signals, no ad personalisation.
• No cross-site tracking and no sharing of data for Google's own purposes.
• Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
• Data is retained for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
• Processing happens under an agreement with Google Ireland Ltd.

Your choices

You can block analytics entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site. The site works exactly the same without them.
